Troubleshooting

Here you can explore solutions to some common issues users face.

I want to transfer One to another computer

If you are currently using One (or One Mini) on one computer but wish to transfer it to another computer (e.g., a new, more powerful one), you can certainly do so. However, please note that each license for One (or One Mini) can only be active on one computer at a time. Therefore, you must first unregister One (or One Mini) from the initial computer before registering it on the new one.

Here are two ways to achieve this:

  1. From the One program: Click the Unregister button in the general settings form. See this section for details.
  2. From the FairReplay Cloud: Locate the One (or One Mini) product, and click the Deactivate button under Activations on the right-hand side. See this section for details.

Once you've successfully unregistered the activation, you can then use the same license key to re-register One (or One Mini) on another computer. See this section for details.

I was already using a registered FairReplay One, but after installing a newer version, the program became Unregistered!

In version 2024.2.9.106 of FairReplay One, we've relocated the application data files from the appData folder to the application folder (where One.exe is located). As a result, if you were using a registered older version of One and then installed version 2024.2.9.106 or newer, the program may become unregistered. To resolve this issue, simply re-register One again.
To do this, go to the FairReplay Cloud: Locate the One (or One Mini) product, and copy the license key. After copying the license key, proceed to re-register One. Refer this section for details.

note

This applies to version 2024.2.9.106 and all subsequent versions of FairReplay One.
