How to use

User Registration​

If you don't have a FairReplay Cloud account, go to cloud.fairreplay.com and click Register in the menu. If you already have an account, just go to the login page.

When registering, fill in the required information. You can also create a new organization by providing the necessary details. Once registered, check your email for a confirmation link. After confirming, you can log in to FairReplay Cloud.

If you got an invite link from a FairReplay user, simply click on it to register. No need to create a new organization during the registration process.

How to add additional users to your organization​

To add more users to your organization, invite them by sharing the link found on the Organization dashboard. Go to the dashboard by clicking Home in the menu and selecting your organization. Easily copy the invite link to your clipboard by clicking the icon next to the link.

How to Buy a product​

Buying a new product is easy! Navigate to My products, choose the product, click the button, and fill in your credit card details on the Stripe checkout form. Once the purchase is successful, you'll be redirected to your products page with your newly bought product.

Before making a purchase, you must enter your billing information. If you haven't provided the billing details yet, the system will automatically direct you to the Billing details page. Once you input the details, the purchase process will resume automatically.

Opting for an Annual subscription for FairReplay products (Recorder, Recorder Mini, One, or One Mini) means that you will have a subscription that renews automatically each year.

If you go for a 1-Month License for the FairReplay Recorder, it's a one-time license valid for a month without automatic renewal.

For a Lifetime License of the FairReplay Recorder, you get lifetime access with a 1-Year Updates pack included. This allows you to install any updates within this year. You can of course purchase additional 1-Year Updates packs after they expire.

How to Register a product​

After buying a product, registering is easy!. Head to Your products, locate the product, and copy the License key (or click the icon next to it).

Now open the program you want to register, hit the Register button, and paste the key into the registration form. Your program will be registered.

Automatic license activation requires an internet connection.

How activation works​

FairReplay software activation relies on a unique hardware ID created from your motherboard's serial number, CPU, and machine GUID. This ID usually stays the same, unless you change your CPU or motherboard. If you need to make changes, it's best to unregister the program first. You can also revoke the activation in the Cloud (see How to Revoke an activation for details).

After activation, a JWT (JSON Web Token) is stored. Your activation is good for 30 days and automatically renews a few days before expiration. Make sure you have an internet connection for this process.

How to Register a product manually​

The registration process for your programs is designed for simplicity through the use of product license keys. However, this method requires an internet connection. If you lack such a connection, you can opt for manual activation.

Manual registration is currently available only for the FairReplay Recorder and FairReplay Recorder Mini.

For manual registration of your FairReplay Recorder:

  • Navigate to My products on your Cloud dashboard and locate the FairReplay Recorder (or FairReplay Recorder Mini) you wish to manually activate.
  • Click on the button Offline Activation and you will be redirected to the Manual Product Activation form with the preselected organization product.
  • Paste the machine key obtained from the FairReplay Recorder Manual Registration form (see Register / Unregister Software section for details).
  • Provide a name for the activation.
  • Click Activate to generate the activation. You will be redirected to the product you just manually activated (highlighted). By clicking on the activation of the product, you will be redirected to the activations page where you can identify the new activation in the list (highlighted), and copy the Key to the clipboard by clicking the icon next to the field.

The manual activation key will also be sent to your email.

How to cancel an annual subscription​

To cancel an annual subscription, go to Your products, find the product, and click Do not renew. This stops the automatic renewal, and your product remains valid until the end of the current interval, without any additional charges. Remember, cancel before the subscription expires to avoid extra charges.

This applies only to products with an annual subscription.

How to Revoke an activation​

After successfully registering a product, an activation key is generated (see How activations work). To view all activation keys for your products, navigate to My products. Under each product, you can find a list of all activations made for that specific product.

If for some reason you need to revoke an activation, click the Deactivate button for that activation. This action makes the activation key invalid, and the program will need to be re-registered.
